I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2005. I worked as an associate dentist in Midsomer Norton, Frome, and St George in Bristol before taking over at Hanham Dental in November 2018.

Since then, I’ve been modernising and updating the practice to bring it to the forefront of providing high quality dental treatment in a clean and comfortable environment.

I am Invisalign accredited and have an interest in endodontic (root canal) treatment and composite (white filling) placement, in addition to providing all aspects of general dentistry.

I live with my wife and two beautiful girls. I’m a cat person and have two cats, Basil and Dexter. In the little spare time I have, I enjoy building and collecting Star Wars Lego sets and resistance training at the gym.

I qualified in 2013 from Peninsula Dental School with a BDS Honours, following on from a degree in Physiotherapy. I did foundation training in Tavistock before joining Wadebridge Dental in 2014.

I previously covered all aspects of general dental care but have now focused my work with a special interest in smile design – enhancing people’s smiles and self-confidence by straightening and lightening teeth and improving the aesthetics of front teeth. I am currently finishing off my diploma in clear aligner therapy and I am involved in advanced cases using fixed and removable braces. I have provided over 400 cases of orthodontic treatment, I am planning on teaching Invisalign to dentists and was a finalist for Best Young Dentist South West 2021.

I regularly provide teeth straightening (Invisalign, Fast Braces, Six-Month Smiles, Inman Aligner) and Smile Makeovers using whitening, composite bonding and ceramics.

I love eventing my horse Blue, skiing in the winter (sometimes in fancy dress!) and also off-shore sailing on a friend’s boat.

I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008. I relocated to Bristol in 2009 and have enjoyed working as an associate GDP within the south west. In 2019, I joined the team at Hanham Dental.

When I joined Hanham Dental it had recently been taken over and has since undergone a full transformative update and modernisation of treatment protocols including digital dentistry with use of intra oral scanners.

Working in such a forward thinking and positive environment has reignited my passion for dentistry and learning.

Within the last 12 months I have completed multiple training courses and increased my field of practice to include Invisalign and other cosmetic treatments. Providing Invisalign has been a total game changer, I only wish I had started sooner.

I love being a family GDP, I love all aspects of dentistry, getting to know my patients, watching them grow up, helping them overcome fears and changing their perception of dentists. Transforming smiles and boosting self-confidence through Invisalign really enhances that relationship with my patients – I really do love my job.

Outside dentistry I am a huge football fan and play with local club Bristol & West LFC where I met my wife almost 10 years ago.

Since graduating from Bristol University in 2005 I have held several positions as an Associate in the Bristol area.

I have recently returned from a career break during which I spent time living in Singapore and Chicago with my family.

I love being a mum to my three children and we enjoy walking, swimming and cycling, camping and skiing.

I obtained my HE Diploma in Dental Therapy in 2011 after studying at Liverpool University. I have worked with Sam since qualifying and followed him to Hanham Dental shortly after he purchased the practice.

I have two small children who keep me busy outside of work!

I have recently obtained an MSc in Oral Biology from Cardiff University, which has deepened my knowledge and refreshed my passion for dentistry.

I joined Hanham Dental in April 2009 as a receptionist and quickly developed an interest in progressing in dentistry. In May 2012 I received the NEBDN Dental nurse qualification.

In 2019 I was promoted to head nurse and completed my training to become cross infection control lead and also I have a keen interest in facial aesthetics.

In my spare time, I enjoy Pilates and spending time with my daughter and two dogs. I am definitely a dog person.

I joined Hanham Dental in 2004 as a receptionist/trainee dental nurse and in 2008 I became a GDC registered dental nurse.

I enjoy sharing my years of experience as a dental nurse, with new members of our team.

I like dealing with patients and am interested in progressing into a treatment coordinator role in the future.

In my free time I love to spend time with my family and friends and meeting new people.

I started dentistry in 2016 as a trainee nurse/receptionist. I qualified as a dental nurse in 2018 and joined Hanham Dental in 2019.

I have developed a keen interest in dental radiography and will be starting my qualification in radiography this year. I love all water sports and being by the sea and would love to live by the beach with all my dogs.

I started my career in dentistry in 2013 in a busy NHS and private practice, and I qualified as a dental nurse in 2015.

Since then I have endeavoured to update my knowledge by completing certificates in impression taking, fluoride varnish application and oral health education.

I joined Hanham Dental in January 2019 and have enjoyed working as part of a friendly team.

In my spare time I enjoy trying new restaurants, seeing other parts of the world, and spending time with my friends and family.

After qualifying as a Dental Nurse at Bristol Dental Hospital I joined Hanham Dental in 1997.

As a long serving member of the team, I have enjoyed developing my leadership skills and enrolled in the ILM Level 5 diploma business management and leadership course.

I qualified in 2015 and was promoted to Practice Manager January 2019.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and keeping fit with Pilates and boogie bounce.

Hi I’m Sophie, the lead receptionist at Hanham Dental.
I joined the Practice in July 2022 and I love socialising, going out for food and meeting new people.

I joined Hanham Dental in 2021 as a receptionist.

I enjoy learning about the different aspects of dentistry and interacting with the patients face to face and over the phone.

I also have a keen interest in the travel industry and have my own business as an independent travel agent.

In my spare time I love spending time with my friends and family and of course my dog too.
